I'm headed to the 40th Annual Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) today! This year, they've moved the venue out of DC and are holding it at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center.  I'm actually looking forward to a change, so let's see how I feel about it come Sunday.  :)

For those of you who don't know what CPAC is, it's three fun-filled days of speeches, policy discussions and networking all in the name of conservative principles like limited government, economic liberty and yes, FREEEEEDOM!  :)

Although I'm on Day 31 of no Twitter or Facebook in honor of Lent, you can follow all things CPAC at @CPACnews and #CPAC2013.   They also have an app that can be downloaded from the iTunes App Store and Google Play

Happy 40th, CPAC!  See you soon ... after all, Government goes to those who show up and I'm showing up.  :)

  1. God speed.

Please represent the rest of us who can not go by making sure serious displeasure is known of the attempt by Grover Norquist and CPAC to suppress the truth of Muslim Brotherhood infiltration into the GOP.

  2. The Gaylord is very nice. I was there for a GOPink conference - the one w/Condi Rice as the keynote luncheon speaker - and though it's a bit of a hump to get to from D.C., it's worth the trip. Too bad it's CPAC! :)

  3. It is a beautiful hotel. I'm glad they moved the venue ... so far. :)
