On September 17, 1787, the United States Constitution was signed by 39 brave men and the world was changed forever. Over a hundred countries have since used it as a model for their own. And as it is also a living document, it is one of the oldest surviving constitutions.
In honor of the 224th birthday of the Constitution this Saturday, here are a few ways for you and your family to celebrate:
- Get trained and make a difference. Remember my motto: Don't leave it someone else. YOU ARE someone else! Join American Majority's inaugural Training Bomb. One Day. Fourteen States. For America.
- Learn and share the U.S. Constitution at Share The Constitution Dot Com.
- Get a FREE Constitution from the Heritage Foundation! Great gifts for all your family and friends.
- Of course, there's an app for the that: U.S. Constitution and Facts!
- Test your knowledge by taking the Constitution Quiz. How did you do?
- Which Founder Are You? Take the quiz here!
- Much more here from the National Constitution Center.
One of my favorite quotes from Patrick Henry: The Constitution is not an instrument for the government to restrain the people, it is an instrument for the people to restrain the government.
